Meljoe - can you change the title to Fuji X shooters?  This will allow Fuji X100, X10 and Xpro 1 to join para mas masaya. Thanks.

Cool shot Ric. Not bad for a small camera at ISO 3200.

Ric - ganyan talaga kapag walang model. We look for something interesting and make it look better through photography. Our cameras are useless if they don't get used.

@ric....hay naku nakalusot na nga ako sa d7000 BI thread tapos heto na naman tayo  :D

seriously, can i compare this to the nikon 1? if not, what other cameras should i compare the fuji x10 with?

hanap ko din kasi minsan yung magaan na camera lang lalo na kung di naman landscape venues ang lugar para at least magenjoy time with the family.

 ;)

Jojo the X10 is pretty compact.

Your D5k plus a 35mm f1.8G is also lighter and is more capable than the Nikon 1.

that is a very good advice...i never thought of putting a prime lens into the equation, plus the fact the 35mm is cheaper. i will definitely give this some further thought.

thanks again...and thanks for accepting the flickr contact  ;)

BBC, my deciding factor between the X10 and the other MFT.. is the capability to change lenses. I didn't want to go through another phase of GAS with m43rds lenses, additional EVF, etc.

I can't say it's directly comparable to the Nikon 1 series because they are really different from a hardware, feature and market perspective. The closest you can compare the X10 is probably the Oly XZ1 :)

Might be good to look at this too: http://snapsort.com/compare/Fujifilm-X10-vs-Nikon-J1

Sorry mods medyo na-OT na :) baka pwede palipat sa measurebating ng X10.. hehe!

No worries Jojo.  OT:  If Nikon can update its older prime lenses i.e. 20mm f2.8D, 24mm, 28mm, 35mm f2.8D lenses and make them all f2.8 G versions, that will be great for all of us.
20mm on a DX will be just right for group photography with family and for landscape.

Now back to topic ulit.

Thanks Ric. Using the 52mm lens filter adapter, I added another step-up adapter to use my 77mm CP filter just to give it a bluer sky.  :)

Tynn welcome to the X10 user's group.

I had to try the pro focus feature. Just a jpg file and resized.

It looks pretty sharp to me at f2.8.
