I am reading John Hedgecoe's Complete Guide to Photography.  Maganda ang book kasi it discusses all aspects of photography.

I several books about photography and photoshop. The latest I got from goodwill bookstore in glorietta VACATION AND HOLIDAY PHOTOGRAPHY by Michael Busselle. If you check out their visual art section, ang daming titles for photographers, meron din for black and white photography.
Just lurking around trying to find something. I dont know what it is im looking for but when i find it, i'll know i've found it.

Just want to recommend this:

This is a book for all photography enthusiasts — beginners and advanced shooters; film and digital.  It offers 100 easy to follow, jargon-free essential tips with accompanying inspirational images.  It covers a wide range of topics from choosing filters to framing a composition, from shooting in bad weather to taking portraits, and capturing architectural details to close-up wildlife photography.

I think Mrs. Salta still has photography books. I bought some books from her son a few months ago and I do remember seeing some at the back of his van. For those who dont know, Mrs. Salta is quite popular lalo na to those in the advertising industry for selling hard to find books related to the field.
For your real estate needs, call 0920-9129948 or 8162827, look for Karla Lucena.

I recommend the following two books:

1.  Understanding Exposure - Bryan Peterson
2.  Digital Photography - Scott Kelby*

I think someone is selling this book in another forum for PHP800.00

Both are priced around PHP1,200.00 but are difficutl to find.  Fully-booked used to have them on stock.  You can also try Infomaxx in Makati as they have a lot of books on display. Only problem is that the prices they quote are so high although they normally give a discount of around PHP300.00 per book

my recommendation is the Digital Photography series by Lark Publishing...nice set. you can find these at National Bookstores, but my favorite branches (na maraming volumes so far) are at Shangri-La and Megamall.

"The Joy of Digital Photography" is a part of these series, prices start at 800 pesos.  ;)

I recommend Bahman Farzad's The Confused Photographer's Guide to the Simplified Zone System.  Understanding Exposure is also good because it is a simplified approach to exposure but exposure is really taking control so the first book is a must have.

As regards Infomax, they have a good selection of books but the prices are too exorbitant even with the measly discount.  Well, if you have the dough then why not.  Fully booked has a wide selection of photography topics and the prices are reasonable.
