Mon was giving us a grand tour of his hacienda, the three of us on a small XRM. We were looking for a place to shoot the sunset later. I was particularly looking for a vantage point with some haystack (wala sa amin nito hehe). We passed by this beautiful bare tree right beside an equally "well formed" stack. So it was decided to shoot sunset at this place. Here are some photos of this tree:

We used to swim on this brook (it's actually a communal irrigation canal) when we were still kids. :o

Yes, stacked filter (CPL, ND8, ND400) to expose the scene for 160 seconds @ f/11, ISO 100.

Nice takes Mon. What a scenic hometown you have there. The Philippine country side is just so blessed with unique landscape, as a 'probinsyano we don't have to travel longways to shoot. The spots are just in our backyard. Keep those photos coming.

Hi Jopet, yes you're welcome. Your photos of my town must be about a year ago or so. We now have a brand new spanking steel bridge named after the province' first President Corazon Aquino. The  old bridge was collapsed by two dump trucks filled with aggregats last year.

Thanks Rawen, let's shoot here sometime. Perhaps you can check few limestone hills we have, my grandfathers told me of caves used by hukbo during the WWII.
