need feedback po sa mga 35mm f1.8 owners.

just purchased this lens yesterday from mayer. tested the lens and its ok. sa bahay ko na nilagay yung lens hood and napansin ko hindi sya kasing higpit mag lock tulad ng sa 55-200mm na lens hood. ganun lang ba talaga sya or there is something wrong with the hood? TIA

I have the same problem... I just placed small bits of duct tape in the locking mechanisms para humigpit pag nilalagay ko. Okay naman na.

I know there are isolated cases where the lens hood is really somewhat loose and it's not just for the 35mm you got.

Maybe you should ask Mang Ramon to check it out and have it replaced since it's covered in the warranty.

well ... my 35mm's hood isn't a snug fit (jiggles or wiggles whichever you'd prefer to call it) but since it's secure (doesn't fall off) and doesn't affect the quality of my shots, i just let it be.
