Always take some pictures, kaw din sayang yung picture moments.

wait a little longer for the D700 comes down?

kasi parang parehong-pareho lang yung d300s at d7000 eh... i might be wrong ha.

Although it's what I would prefer for a wedding photographer, I won't recommend going to FX unless you have the lens line-up already or have the budget for it.

I think the D7000 is for you.  I know it's a long thread but check out the D7000 review and hop on to the bandwagon. :o

if you need the speed and response time, go for the D300s.  if high ISO performance matters more to you, go for the D7000.  if you're primarily shooting weddings, i guess the D7000 can do the job perfectly fine.

The d7000 doesn't have the d300's semi-pro/pro button interface... so if you are coming from a d90 it will be easier for you to familiarize yourself with the d7000's buttons. But aside from that the d7000 is superior in the sense that it has higher mp count and better high iso low noise capabilities... and not to mention 1080p video recording.

Hi trasher, check out this link and it will help you decide: http://www.pinoyphotography.org/forum/index.php?topic=78002.0

Medyo mahaba na ang thread but it's full of information about D7000 and comparison with other body/brand/model. I bought a D90 last year and after two months I bought the D7000 as my main body and now, I rarely use my D90 unless I need a backup for events. Please take time to read the thread and you will know why....  ;D

Cheers!

I have friends who use this lens and I must say that this is one the best performer among the tamron lineup. If it performs well on you D90, I'm pretty sure that it will better be on the D7000 plus its high ISO capability and superb metering system.  :D

Skip the tamron 17-50 and go straight nikkor 17-55.. :D Kidding aside, how about just selling your d90 and get d7000 instead?

But if i will shoot more sports, i will still choose d300s..

If you already have the 18-200, I suggest skip the 18-105 and just get the body. You can save around 10K. And if you don't really need a 2nd body, sell the D90 and your tammy and get Nikkor 17-55 2.8 DX as suggested by memphis.

If you only need a 2nd body, why bother for the d7k when you already have the d3100 ( nasa profile mo).
Unless maykahalong GAS to then it will be a different story :D:D . The d300s most prominent advantage aside from sturdy body over the d7k, are the high burst rate, reliable tracking on its AF, bracketing options!!!.  ;)
