Henry's just announced that the body will arrived by Nov. 4. Their price is P58,000.

Is this a CDSC or store warranty unit price?

OT Question:

Kaya kaya 'to ng Nikon D90? Kung idadaan sa pag edit pero simpleng edit lang.

Looks like they're taking advantage of people's interest in this camera, price is too much for a model not replacing the D300s.

better wait for a few more months before buying then, best bet would be around May,by that time prices would have dropped considerably. Hopefully :D

fairly priced considering the SRP of $1200

when can we expect CDSC units and any guess on the price?

I wonder if I should go into d300s instead. There's roughly around 8k price difference.

For those who will have the privilege of owning it first, update us esp. the hot pixels issue when in Live view and putting it against a very dark background. The other one is the oxidizing issue that make lenses fail to AF even with the Nikkor lenses. It was reported to be occurring among Sigmas but then it can happen to Nikkors too!!Again, those are internet feed backs and I have no way of confirming it if it is really true or just another "rumors".
If you go to the shop, you can test it right away and if you notice some hot pixels that are too many or unacceptable then you know what to do!!!

Good luck. I hope next week you can give us your reviews!!!

Yeah. Let's see what happens to the market after d7000 is released. I'm expecting the d7k's price to go up and the D90/D300s' prices to go down.  :P

With regards to the the d300s... well even our company d700 is acting up in the sense that it has this false low battery error. While my first d300s when it was released last year... was plagued with f0 error... good thing am not into wedding or events photog or else lagot talaga shots ko. But the point is as a gadget or item becomes increasingly complex so will the rate of errors and gremlins appearing become more often. e.g. cellphones during the time of 5110 or 6110 hardly do you hear anyone saying cellphone ko nag hang. But nowadays you frequently hear that hanging thing.
