if you don't have any other lens, then add another lens.  bale wala pa yung 6t actuations.

fyi. between the 550d and 60d, go with the 60d.

 ;D ;D ;D

wala naman problem kung abutin pa yan ng 10k actuation..
dont mind actuation. if it fails then it fails
meron dyan wala pang 1k nag fail na..

imo- push your 1000D to it's limit then if you really have to upgrade skip the rebel series then go direct xxD or xd.

id go with a lens upgrade, it will give you a different perspective (different shots), changing bodies would only give you new features (like high iso, and picture editing etc).  after buying the lens, then upgrade your body..:)

Salamat po sa mga reply...now i am beginning not to sell my 1000d instead of buying an UWA bday gift ko para sa akin,,hehe.. ;)
but i am still worrying the re-selling price of my 1000d after two or three years..
and i am convincing myself, if ever bumili ako ng 60d this year, i will not going to upgrade na..hehe.. ;D..may nakikita po kasi ako around P44thou price, do you think it still made in Japan with 1 year warranty from store and not from Canon??

If you get the 24-70L, you'll see a difference in your pics. If you get the 60D, you'll feel the difference while taking pics but I don't think you'll see much difference in the output except for cleaner higher iso shots. The 60D gives you video though

better to buy the lens you want first. in my opinion, lens is more important unless you'll be upgrading to full frame body. :>

sigurado na ako sa lens upgrade then came 60d with video capability kaya tuloy nagulo ang plano ko :)

Mga sir pasabay na din ako dito. Same problem din ako ngayon, lens or body. I haven't upgraded my gears in 5yrs, I have a 20d with 17-85mm and 50mm. Currently, I only have a budget for one upgrade. I'm looking at the 60d (maybe 7d) and 24-70mm or 24-105mm. Pacomment na lang mga sir kung ano dapat unahin ko i-upgrade body or lens. Thanks!

invest in pro lens first, they retain their value. the camera body gets updated more than a pro lens. :)

lens. hintayin mo hanggang sobrang layo na ng technological gap ng body mo sa body na iuupgrade mo para super solid ang upgrade. imagine going from a small 1.1 engine car to a v6 accord. you will appreciate the body upgrade more, mas malaki ang difference sa iso capability, image quality, af performance, etc. plus you'll appreciate your lenses more when you have others. for example, i used to own a 35mm f1.8 which i hated until i got a wider lens, i was able to appreciate it's true value.
