Free Photography Workshop

Two photographers from international photo agencies Corbis and Getty will be conducting a free open forum, slide show, and portfolio review for photography enthusiasts on Friday, July 7, 2006, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm at the CCP.

Benjamin Lowy (Corbis) began his career by covering the Iraq war in 2003.  Since then, he has covered major stories in Haiti, Libya, Darfur, and Indonesia.  His clients include Time, Newsweek, The New York Times, Fortune, Rolling Stone, ESPN, and People magazine.  Philippine-born Marvi Lacar (Getty) has a Master’s Degree in Journalism and counts the Los Angeles Times, Der Spiegel, Discovery Inc., and Reader’s Digest among her clients.
