sir kung kit lens po ang gamit niyo eh meron naman hood na para talaga diyan yung tugma na para sa lens ninyo..or kung ano man yung magustuhan niyo eh pwede niyo naman tanggalin yun..ako kasi naglalagay talaga ko niyan para sa protection ng lens din lalo na kapag matao yung lugar kasi nasasagi or natatabig yung lens ko. iniiwas ko lang sa maaaring mangyari ;D ;D ;D

i'm more concerned about the weight of the hood while the lens is focusing, it feels like the lens (kit lens)is carrying extra load while focusing that ive decided not to use the hood anymore.
a picture is an intermediate something between a thought and a thing...

I bought a LVSHI circular lenshood, an EW60c replacement from dponline and it served me well. No vignetting :)

Hi good PM, newbie here just want to share lang po, may suggested-specific lens hood for each focal lenght, pag mali sya even if the circumference is match sa lens   lalabas sa view  yung edges ng hood ("vignette"). It helps a lot specially in preventing other lights from getting to your lens, avoiding flare and unwanted lightings as well us protecting the lens when making close up shots, like the UV filter din. kakahinayang lang pag nagasgas UV filter he he.
