I-mag Photography features "Clicko" Gnie Arambulo
« on: June 06, 2009, 05:16:42 PM »
I just came from Grafix Expo and Mr. Neal handed me a copy of their Imag featuring Gnie Arambulo's image of the paint as cover.

Yes. I am proud of her - cant deny that. here are some of her special effect photography commissioned by TBWA for Boysen Paint. It took Gnie and her team led by Eric Castro ( remember the "houseboy ) , Robert and Mang Jun as their consultant 10 long hours and lots of paint throwing . It was a MESS - the studio was literally painted with all colors - splashes on the floors and walls. Well its worth it. Hope this series get international award too.

This is to cover photo of the Imag

Other images of the paints

Lily

Orchid

the flower

Hibiscus

Ala Manny Pacquiao - Pound for pound Gnie is the best all around female photographer in town - she does Aerial, Automotive, Fashion, Lifestyle shoot, Food, Special Effect, Talent, Architecture (exterior&interior) sports and lately travel photography.

Now its time that she is looking for someone for her to teach (being a mentor just like me ) thats why we are looking for a male - young and good photoshop artist to be her assistant - to be as good as her. Sorry. No female applicants. only boys :-)

Thank you Ms. May Dalisay of TBWA for giving us a special permission to allow us to have these images to be viewed by the members.

sir, kahiya naman.......can't produce/post that shot  ;D buy and get the magazine na lang ;D....

Sir thanks a lot too for being proud of me.

As what you were saying, someone asks how i did it.........????
Sir mahaba habang kwentuhan yan.
All i can remember, it took me sleepless nights into how i will produce the kind of effect they need.
An hour or more of shopping around ace hardware, cash and carry with erik to think what gudgets ( sprinklers, tabu, hose, syringe......) to buy,
and like what you have thought me, i need to have an adjuster  in my hand to produce special effects... in other
words "timing" which is the most important part of the shooting process.
Lighting was tricky, given that we have the broncolor graffit is a big factor but i need to show the gloss of the paint and
the contour for the shapes - side and backlighting was what we did.
Again..the key is more of the timing plus the imagination..

Thanks again to all...buy na the i-mag!

This is "clicko" Gnie Arambulo - she is a little bit afraid of snake - kaya iyon ang expression niya.
