which Optech Strap to buy?
« on: March 27, 2009, 02:49:15 AM »
need help on choosing w/c optech strap to buy..
between the pro and pro-loop w/c is better? or w/c one do you prefer?
may advantage ba yung pro-loop kesa pro, and vise versa?
Also baka may ibang Op/Tech model kayo ma recommend or other brands na din...
San ba best price bumili?
Thanks in Advance.

Im using Pro-Loop for my D90, MB-D80, Tamron 17-50 and SB-800... kayang kaya! I have rapid, pac-safe but i still prefer my optech pro loop...mas comfy talaga sya..

Kay lehboy lang ako bumibili ng optech ko :)

i got the pro loop with d90, grip, 70-200 and sb800. i think the strap can manage the weight (barely) , but i prefer the lowepro strap on gears more than 2 kilos.

i use the Op/tech pro-loop. very comfy, easy to attach/detach, male & female opposite clips is a great idea because it can be used as a handstrap when connected.

remove nyo po yun padded neck strap then attach nyo po yun opposite ends nung pro-loop attachments.

yun pro-loop attachments po ang part nung strap na nakakabit dun sa camera body.

Op-tech Pro loop. Comportable kahit mabigat ang gamit. Kung more than 1 body, kuha ka ng extra connectors para yung strap (center portion) lang ang lilipat mo sa body.

sir, tingnan nyo po yun mga dulo nung padded strap & yun connectors. magkaiba po sila on both ends, 1 male, 1 female. pag di po nakakabit yun padded strap dun sa connectors, pwede po pagkabitin yun dalawang dulo ng connectors since male & female sila.

Pro-loop kasi madaling tanggalin. You may want to check the loop though after using it for a while kasi the constant motion on the rigid camera loops may sooner or later damage the fabric. I also feel that the loops offer better connectivity and assurance that it doesn't slide off from the cam.

gamit ko rin pro-loop. d90+17-55+grip. pero usually sa shoulders nakasabit hehe.
eto lang yung nakakatakot. parang cellfone strap eh  ;D

Go with the pro-loop if you want to attach something else with the camera. in my case i have the pro loop strap together with a hand strap bearing the weight of my D80 with 70-200 2.8 & sb800 with 5 batteries. the attachments may look thin/weak but they handle my gear as a piece of cake.

I use PRO LOOP, very easy to use, can carry my D700 + 70-200 + sb-900 no problems at all.

Pero for ruggedness and 100% sure fire easy carrying and usability of the camera, the Black Rapid straps are much better and more comfortable than any neck strap I've used.

So it's OP/TECH for play, and Black Rapid for work.  ;)

The pro loop was my very first neck strap.

Compared sa OEM strap, it can manage heavy gears pretty well.
