Somewhere in China
« on: October 19, 2008, 10:09:47 AM »
Peter and Jeff Hutchens, photography and filmmaking sibling duo, share their experiences from SOMEWHERE IN CHINA with National Geographic Channel’s audience at a photographic seminar and workshop held at the Filipinas Heritage Library last October 13, 2008.

I was with veras_eyes, suped_ed and tekgik that afternoon.
Peter studied and graduated high school here in IS Manila during the 90's as his father was assigned here in Manila for a few years. Jeff found his way here to visit the family during sem breaks during college.

SOMEWHERE IN CHINA, a new series on National Geographic Channel, premiered last Sunday October 12 at 7:00pm and will be shown every Sunday at 7:00pm for the remaining of the 6 part mini-series. Catch it tonight at NatGeo channel at 7pm.

Peter and Jeff went back to China – where they lived as children – to document the nation in the midst of social reinvention. The series allows them to demonstrate what they do best, taking truly stunning photographs and film footage that make the series a visual feast for viewers.
