These are really good for a first timer.  I think I like the owl shot best.  The only advice I can give you is practice practice practice!  It also helps to view the shots of more experienced photographers so you get more ideas on lighting, composition, and so on.

Great shots though!  :)

nice...are you sure you're just a beginner ma'm? the monkey's my fave ;) medyo mas gusto ko lang na mas malaki yung space on the right side that on the left since its head is leaning towards the left...pero all in all very good shot ma'm...shoot a lot more, you'll definitely improve if you keep on practicing and keeping that passion in photography ;) goodluck on your journey :)

on another note, honestly they seem to be pulled out from a National Geographic photo collection.  They are really good photos.  I'm sure you'll become better, hope to see more posts from you : )

@cheydiver - thanks, i noted that it was avilon zoo.  i guess i should've clarified whether the avilon zoo the OP visited was the one at tiende, which i just assumed from the photo with the 3rd photo with the eagle.  napuna ko lang yung background and i just assumed it was the one at tiende.   :)  there are two avilon zoo's.  the big one, is at montalban...  :)  peace!

http://avilonzoo.com.ph/

@genuine0270 - apologies if i assumed you went to the tiende one...  the background of the third photo of the eagle appeared to me like the one at tiende... cheers!
