Ah talaga? Hmm.. That's weird! Mine is moving. I tried it in different rooms and gumagalaw naman siya :D

I was able to get my hygormeter at infomax for 700... baka cheaper dahil nandun si shuttercat nun... eh maraming binibili... baka sa akin napunta yung discount.... :)

I thought you were using the one from Fuma? I bpought one from there too. Why did you buy a new one from Infomax? :D

parang di gumagalaw yung galing fuma ko eh :)

do i have to use silica gel or will those closet dehumidifiers (the ones that are sold in true value/ace hardware) do? i read the label and the content is calcium chloride. brands i saw were "high five" and "thirsty hippo"

dehumidifiers are for closets, it could spell doom for your photo gear. rummage through the thread archives, this has been discussed before.

You mean use the device as an ordinary Cabinet? YAMAN! Hehehe

Sure you can. Place some Silica na rin inside to avoid moisture. :D

Hi,

At what temperature and how long do you dry (recharge) silica gel sachets in a gas oven?  Microwave oven?

I have several silica gel sachets in fabric-like sacs which need to be dried?  How do you do this without burning the sacs?

How often do you guys do this?

Thanks for any advice.

Don't know about the temperature but I "recharge" my silica gels the old fashion way - Bilad sa araw!  ;) Siguro from 2pm - 5 pm would be enough given na it's under direct sunlight.

How often - pag napansin ko na tumataas na yung %RH ng drybox when I closed it.

Analog Hygro - SM men's accessories section. Tip - dont ask the sales personnel kasi most of them don't know what a hygrometer is. Hanapin mo na lang - usually kasama yun ng mga table clock.

Silica gel - True value or Infomax

- ice
