Me guessing din, sana mga 125-130k lang. :)
Then 100-115k in 6-12 months.
Wishful thinking. :(

Di pa rin affordable for most of us so will be aspiring to go FF. Abang na lang ng 2nd hand 5D to be sold very soon. Sana meron na 5D sized na FF ang Nikon ;D

There is now a big demand for prosumer full frame camera (without the built in grip of the D3 and 1DsM3).

Antigo na features set ng 5D, although ok pa rin ang IQ. Yun pwedeng pang low-end FF DSLR if they continue to produce it.

Hopefully, Canon, Nikon and Sony start introducing that genre of cameras with more affordable prices. Need not be high MP, basta 3" VGA LCD, multi-AF, 6 fps and up, weather sealing and some new features. :)

fantastisch!!

nice find Raffy. sana nga eto na yun.  hopefully it's out na nga by June so maybe price would be lower in time for Christmas.  sobrang big gap nga from 40D -- parang tatlong 40D na yun.

if i had kids, kawawa naman kasi sabihin ko wag muna mag enroll sa school this june. next year na  ;D

I think the new canon 5d is going to be priced competitively.  W/ Nikon d3 prices coming down soon, heard from the grapevine is going to hit 160k.  5d owners are begging for a  faster full frame body to equalize waht  Nikon offered on their flagship model the D3.

This rumor has been so long going it would probably be named 5D Mark III by the time it comes out.

Canon: 5D Mark II ready to be outed.
Nikon: {rumormill} D3X with 24MP FF sensor
Canon: WTF, they've upped the ante so soon?
Canon (cont): {looks at engineers} Back to drawing boards! WhapaK!!!

Do you think that its worth getting a 5D now with the advent of the MkII?

Magkano nalang ang 5D now?

I'm guessing lang po sa price...

I would bet around 150k SRP and will settle to 120k in 6~12 months after being available.

Still too high for me since malufet depreciation ng DSLR since hobby lang paggagamitan ko :(

It will probably be priced a little lower than the launch price of the 5D, should an exchange rate of at least $1:P41 hold until the Mk II launch.

Now, who knows how much the 5D was during it's launch, when $1 was around P50?  :)

OT:
sa sobrang laki ng difference sa current prices compared sa prices 2 years ago,(most notably sa canon lenses) you'd think na typographical errors ang mga nakapost na figures.  ;D

check this out guys

Already posted earlier ;)

Take it with a grain of salt

Posted briefly on Canon German website and removed after a few hours.  Here is the screenshot.

Canon 5D Mark II – available from June 2008

The EOS 5D Mark II with full-frame sensor with 16 megapixels. 6.5 frames per second and innovative DIGIC III processor. Small, inconspicuous, light and manageable but still robust, weather-sealed construction.

Why is it that all the cameras on that page (xxxD, xxD, and 1D series) are all same width (picture-wise)... but the 5D successor isn't? ;)

It's an optical illusion...

The supposedly fake 5D MkII has a shorter focal length lens on, compared to the body above and below it.  It kinda makes it look longer, as you get to see more of the grip.  Note the 1Ds MkIII that also looks wider than the 1D MkIII due to the shorter lens.

But, the supposed 5D MkII picture indeed looks a bit stretched.
