Sony cams gets better every now and then and starts to rub my skin. If only they have a good service center and  cheap lenses I will give in to my gas.
Sony is rolling out cameras after cameras every year. If I want this one(A72 II) I will just have to wait for a year and it will be a little cheaper.

I hope the Sony Rx100 III will be affordable now that the RX100 IV is around. Much better if some guys will give in to their will and throw away their unit for a song...ha ha ha ha.

I will hold on to my current Nikon DSLR system for as long as I can. The technology is in transition and maybe in 2 years or more we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Sony with their mirrorless and some lenses will surely chop down slowly Canon and Nikon's market share.

Why Sony? Holding on to some tech to tease the users?

that A7rii is like a damn swissknife! ;D

IMO, Sony, Olympus and probably Pentax are the only manufacturers nowadays that knows how to define innovation

When mirrorless can match or exceed dslrs in performance, then maybe I will considered switching systems.
Who knows, Canon and Nikon will probably have their own "serious" mirrorless offerings by then.

Canon is lagging behind. Their DSLR's are getting ancient na. Sobrang nahuhuli na sila sa mga technologies

Kahit yong Leica Q nag catch up na!!! Pero OT yan dito, I am just driving a point. Canon and Nikon still protecting their DSLR bodies and Lenses. Sony will dominate the FF mirrorless market. Yong RX100 IV ang gusto ko!!!

Maganda reviews ng Batis online eh.  And take note di to break the bank prices ha.  Batis 85 is USD1200.  Hmmm....di ko pa na try mag Batis 85 vs Canon L vs Canon 85 1.8 search.

Gusto ko a7r II kasi my IBIS tapos high resolution.Di ko naman talaga kailangan ang high MP pero gusto ko rin makaranas magshoot ng ganon..just for the heck. For hobbyist like me, I am bordering between a photographer and a crazy gassing gearhead. Di pa sinagad yong raw support (losseless ), not a deal breaker for me. AF is important too doing those times when you are lazy to MF or use focus peaking.

same kaya medyo di pa ako excited to get an a7rii, probably a7sii....di rin ako mahilig sa high res eh pero yung IBIS talaga gusto ko since pasmado ako hirap na hirap ako mag shoot ng 85mm pag walang IS...puro blurred.  Very important sa akin ang low light performance kaya a7s ang pinili ko ... sabi nila comparable daw siguro ang low light performance ng a7s and a7r2 pero time will tell.....

AF tracking, low light AF, EVF lag and battery life are quantifiable performance metrics. The personal choice is whether the photographer accepts the limitations to gain the advantages that mirrorless systems bring.

Thats debatable, a lot of landscape photographers used a 5dmark2 before 5dmark3 came out versus the 1d because they defined performance metrics as IQ more than AF Tracking.  Even AF tracking although quantifiable does not mean the same thing for all shooters.  A birder will have a different threshold for performance versus someone who shoots surfing.

Leica lens shooters defined performance based on whether their RF lenses will perform well on the body (smudging, vignettes, color shifts).  Even the a7r vs a7s had varying performance with ultra wide rf lenses mounted.

Maybe what you wanted to say was for YOUR USE and your personal set of acceptable performance metrics mirrorless is not yet there.  For some of us they have already reached and even surpassed what we wanted.

aimed directly for Canon 5Ds potential users. with the ability to adapt canon lenses to the sony mas nakka tempt yan para sa mga canon users.
