Nifty Fifty Part II (2014) - Binondo Photo Walk
« on: March 03, 2014, 07:43:56 AM »
If you've been a member of PiPho for more than 6 years now, chances are you know the Nifty Fifty photo event happened at SM Mall of Asia circa 2008. It was a whole day event allowing PiPho photographers to shoot, exhibit inside SM MOA and compete with the photo contest.

We are bringing it back on March 15 and it will be in the historical Binondo Manila area.

The basics is use your 50mm lens to shoot places, people and still life. You can use zoom lenses but you need to lock it at 50mm focal length.

Interested? Sign up now and it surely be fun-learning activity and a chance to meet the old and new members of PiPho.

Initial details

When: March 15, 2014, Saturday
Assembly time: 6:00 AM
Duration: 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Ok the committee agreed that you can use equivalent 50mm FOV crop equivalent

For simplification

APS-C Canon / Nikon = use 35mm prime or zoom

Micro Four Thirds = use 25mm

What about a 55mm prime on full frame? Is it acceptable?
