As i mention above post, any good alternatives?

Not to hijack this thread or anything but I'm having a hard time looking for a Philippine-based online shop that sells the genuine Nikon MB-D15 battery grip for the D7100. I understand shops don't normally stock them especially when you have the more affordable third-party options that cost a fraction of the price. The one by Phottix looks okay but I'm weary about buying off-brand due to horror stories I heard about malfunctions, durability issues and even a D7100 body with some fried electronics because the off-brand grip had a short circuit.  I can't risk it especially when the camera body itself and the lens I paired it with don't come cheap either and masisira lang sa maling pagtitipid.

I gave Macy's (Cebu) a call but the sales folks said they're still awaiting response from their supplier. Thanks!
