Nikon D600 - The "Affordable" Full Frame DSLR is Now Official
« on: September 13, 2012, 01:57:38 PM »

Nikon officially announced the D600 Full Frame DSLR. The new “low-end” FF camera boasts a 24.3 megapixels 35mm CMOS FX-format sensor. Nikon stated that the D600 is lighter and sexier than its higher end model D800. The camera has the Full HD video recording that is the norm nowadays, but the bigger sensor will surely give cleaner and better IQ and depth-of-field.

The D600 is a 5.5 fps shooter with 39 focusing points that certainly nice for its price tag and since we mentioned about the price, this camera will be sold for $2,100 (Php 87,xxx) this could be the first affordable Full Frame DSLR to date. The Full Frame Nikon D600 will be available in the US next week September 18. We’ll keep you updated when we receive news about its availability locally.

Premiere specs of the D600:

  • 24.3 megapixels CMOS Full Frame 35mm equivalent (FX-format)

  • 39 focusing points

  • 5.5fps burst mode

  • Full HD video 24p / 25p / 30p

  • ISO 100 t0 6400 (expandable)

  • Dual card slots

  •  932k dot 3.2″ LCD screen

  • Weather sealed
