Kailangan sukatin yung current consumption.

By calculation:
Kung yung battery ay 1500mAh divided by 250uA, ang result 6000 hours

Check if any function is running, under operation kasi, around 250mA ang consumption (6hours). Kapag liveview: 1600mA max (less 1hr)

Try removing the lens to isolate the problem.

PS. In Warranty pa kasi yang D800 kaya di ko pa nahihipo
Yung specs, pang D3,D700,...yan

thanks sir david on some technical insights  :D

My camera, battery charger and battery are on its way to Los Angeles, CA. for warranty work and check-up.  That's up to the technicians to figure out on what is wrong. They can give me a new camera too which is ok with me.

Gotta love the warranty program.

Saludo ako sir sa'yo for being so positive.
I usually meet guys with problems on their gear, yung iba parang katapusan na ng daigdig kapag may sira ang lens or camera.

Anyway, I found this thread.
http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/nikon/1243109-nikon-en-el15-battery-age.html

The thread starter had 2 of his battery having the same problem. It could be related to your problem. Since you have send all the related items, malalaman natin ang tunay na culprit

May D7000 at Fuji X10 panaman ako kaya ok lang.  Mayroon pa akong back-up for now.

Try searching for Kirk or Markins L-plates.
The Kirk plate is only $5 cheaper than the RRS
http://www.kirkphoto.com/L-bracket_for_Nikon_D800.html
The markins is $10 cheaper.

Pero dapat yung ballhead mo should be "arca swiss" compatible.

So, Nikon service center received my camera including the battery and charger.  Job was already accepted and was assigned a CAT B2 (Moderate repair: Major parts replacement). Total charge: $0.00 USD.  Sweet!
