If you are happy with the size of the D90, then get a D7000. The two bodies are almost of the same size, and the D7000 is newer (hence, newer technologies placed in it).

But if you want a bigger camera with more user friendly and faster setting changes (kasi dami extra buttons ng D300s) then go for the D300s. Some friends of mine who were used to using a D300 purchased a D7000 for the "tech". Sadly, after a couple of days of ownership, they had to sell their D7000s because they were used to the big size of the D300, and got themselves a D300s.

Events photographers sila pareho, and they said that changing settings without having to go thru the MENU folder is a must during events.

Pero both do miss the HIGH ISO Noise handling of the D7000. Kaya it will all boil down to what you need. Hope this helps...

Wow daming threads 4. Anyways I'm a happy D7000 user. Sabi sa reviews AF speed and IQ and High ISO noise handling is comparable na daw to D3 and D700 (mas me laban sa FX compared to D300s and D90 which have relatively the same sensor), it has newer technology (Expeed2, Better RGB metering), higher megapixel good for cropping and blowups, better video, lighter, interfaces better with AI lenses, and more shots per battery charge. All the other features are almost same but packed in a lighter and cheaper (mas mura) body. Price to performance pa lang malaki na lamang ni D7000 so sa tingin ko better buy talaga tong si D7000. If yung size yung concern you can always buy a battery grip. The extra buttons can be replaced by the U1 and U2 settings sanayan lang sa gamit yun.

Dati yung main selling point ng D300s for me is the AF tuning, magnesium body, burst rate pero all of these can also be found in D7000 and cheaper pa.

dameng d7k BI!! Hahah!!

D300s is an old technology, so understatement na kung ikukumpara xa sa d7K, pero oh well. Newer Tech = cooler features. So go for d7k!!
