auto focus gear for legacy lenses

Has anyone in the forum tried or already had personal encounter with the Fotodiox pronto or the Techart pro with their Sony cam. The tech has been around for months and there has been firmware update for fotodiox units I believe.

As a budgeted solution it is a good band aid solution but if you want the best possible image quality or user experience then you're better of with a native lens.

why not consider the much cheaper A6000? other than 4k video and only via additional external equipment, parang mas maganda or mas makakamura ka pa sa a6500 in the long run or if you dont need 4k, the a6300 is almost identical compared to the a6000 in specification.

misconception yung best user experience if you are using native lenses...
Just consider for a fact that there is a vast majority of E-mount and FE mount users that uses primarily legacy manual lenses on sony mirrorless bodies. me being one. i only have 3 E-mount lenses whilw have 3 e-mount body and 1 FE mount body.. and i never even use these lenses (18-55 55-210, 16-50)

as for AF using legacy glass, the tech art/ fotodiox solution are meant for those who already own a collection of leica lenses which are expensive.. but the better alternative but not necessarily cheaper is using zeiss glass that can AF on sony mirrorless.. some sony A-mount lenses are zeiss coated lenses, yes they are expensive but considerably cheapen that leica branded ones and they can work very well with sony mirrorless bodies via the LA-EA2 and LA-EA4 adapter..faster focusing by far compared to usinf techart/fotodiox adapter.

Sir I understand the gears ( techart and the like ) use the phase detect focusing system. Di ko lang alam kung pwede sa A6000. According to the reviewers applicable only to hybrid or phase detect AF sony models lang.

Well I guess its a matter of taste, principles and choice. Appreciating visual art and shooting experience is relative. I myself seldom use my digital optimized lenses.
