Ganda nga!!! Let the hype begin. For the mean time , I am OK with the a6000 + kitlens. I still love shooting my DSLR. Maganda lang ngayun kasi maraming choices. Kung talagang maganda yang a9 na yan...buti nga...nga nga na lang ang Canon at Nikon. Kung di naman tuloy ang ligaya nila. Years ago naysayers predicted the fall of the DSLR but until now nandito pa rin. Will it finally fall with the a9? Pag ganon ka mahal di pa rin.

good for wedding and sports photogs but not really that much useful to me..

and hopefully canon and nikon would have an answer to this type of camera at this price range though i assume they already havewith their top end dslr but missing some of the tech inside and yes higher in price.. and hopefully sony update their lens lineup.. right now it is meant for wedding photogs with their current lens line up but in the super zoom range konti pa or wala pang super long primes na native e-mount.

i would rather get the a99ii or the a7r2 over this.

If I could (afford), I would, why not? IN pursuit of the latest and the greatest. :P

Still a good push from another camera maker aside from Canon and Nikon.

But I also believe that an "entry level camera" is just a marketing/stint. The final image will always draw the line.

if even half of the technology inside the sony A9 trickles down to entry level sony mirrorless camera that they could sell competitively againt canonikon counterparts in terms of pricing, probably then and only then we could see a remarkable shift of current dslr user into going mirrorless.

sa presyo na lang siguro magkakataluhan kasi kahit nga ngayon for example sony a6000/a65000 against same value dslr from canon or nikon, majority would still prefer canon or nikon even though pag sa specs sheet normally mirrorless would have a "slight" advantage.
sa ngayon na sagot na halos lahat ng gripe ng canon/nikon user in terms of sony mirrorless with the A9;
1. now with better battery life
2. AF, AF points and tracking seems comparable if not better than pro DSLR
3. far better video capability
4. touch screen
5. buffer speed

medyo kulang na lang ng;
1. tech support
2. lenses and hopefully more affordable budget lenses particularly in the apsc line up
3. no idea on the issue of overheating yet.

if i have to upgrade on my current A7 and a6000 i would either go for an A7RII for resolution or with the a-mount A99II since i have a lot of a-mount glass.
