That keeps me thinking what will be the issues this time.. :) ....before i just waited for a month to get a new body after release. Then with d750 I've waited for almost a year (sabit pa rin)....Well, do you think it is safe for me to wait for 2 years?  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

if you wait for 2 years there will be a D500s or a D5s w/c in turn you will have to again wait 2 years for a safe one, then a D550 or whatever it will be called, paulit ulit lang yan... its a pain really. at this point when people are still sticking with nikon despite all the trouble with quality, they should just establish a capable service center. my 2 cents of course :)

A good service center that offers a good after sales service is the 2 cents that is worth a million bucks!! I know local Nikon distributor has to fight off the influx and unchecked entry of grey units. Maybe that is the reason why the after sales service are affected. In reality I have no idea why a lot of camera companies were not able to gain foothold here. I like to try other cameras too but looking beyond the payment it seems there are just few companies to consider. I am not sure about ThinkDarma now. My units are local warrantied but I have not been there yet.
