Anyway, I won't be using it for paid events or going to use the cam for professional work.

Honestly, I think this will also suffice for "some" professional work like corporate events (xmas parties, dinners etc.) IMHO. That's why I chose black so I can add a batt grip later for a more "professional-looking" camera if ever I needed one.   ;D

medyo hindi ako aabot dun sa mga heavyweight DSLR's na yan Doc, can't afford na yan and i will not really use it for a living, just a hobby and for family events and gatherings. mukang you are really on the edge na din sa mga bagong labas ngaun. ang galing mo mag timpi Dok! hehehe :D

A silver one looks darn goooood. :)

The black OMD EM5 is still a safe choice though. If you leave it inside your car, on black covered seats, and your car tints are black... it's sooo hard to notice. (I'm speaking from a somewhat
similar experience of leaving a black LX5 inside a car)

For a bukas kotse gang member, mukhang wala kang gamit sa loob. :)

Hehehe sino malakas loob? Ako kasi kahit weather-sealed I wouldn't test it if I could avoid it. Naalala ko yung Motorola Defy nung kaibigan ko tinubog niya sa swimming pool...ayun napabili siya ng Experia Arc ng wala sa oras eh ;D Even my ex-D7000 I didn't dare go test in the rain just for the heck of it. It's something that is good to have and good to know you have it in case you need it but wouldn't test it out lalo na kung ganito kamahal na gamit :D

its been some years since my last post hahaha! crazy thing this omd... b.i ka talaga sir tynn... THANK YOU! :)

used mine last week during some heavy rain... all was well... i used it while i went fishing (freshwater though)... the only thing that got damaged was the lcd protector i used for the screen...

its part of the reason i got the camera... its a whole lot easier to bring along then a canon 1d series... and it fits easily in a maxpedition or 5.11 carry bag :) gives you the operations of an slr in a point and shoot package... still so much to learn about it though...
