Kuya yung second pic 4 seconds lang? Converted ba OM-D mo? Nice shots.

No it's not. I think M4/3 sensors are more sensitive to light. Will test with some ND filters and I will get back to this thread soon.

Will check the humming sound inside a sound proof studio and post a video after holy week. Will borrow a SEMA-1 Mic first.

If you put the camera beside your ear, you'll hear a faint whirring sound parang may cooling fan sa loob.  :D

Non-issue naman so far. Still testing and testing the unit. Tried shooting at 9fps and it works great and sounds great as well!  :D

Will post pictures here later.  ;)

Ang linis at 3200! The more reason I wanna sell my current setup and go light.

Kamusta naman po ang autofocus? Is it fast enough to capture running kids? TIA

Medyo nagimprove na AF system ng Olympus m4/3 since the E-P3 (something like a lens-sensor sync read out rate of 120fps) and OMD doubles the AF performance on paper (240fps). This is given that the lens is compatible with Fast AF and you get ample light. Sa E-P3 I can even capture a moving tricycle using S-AF mode in good lighting so I think kakayanin na din ni OMD yung kids theoretically.

Hehehe sino malakas loob? Ako kasi kahit weather-sealed I wouldn't test it if I could avoid it. Naalala ko yung Motorola Defy nung kaibigan ko tinubog niya sa swimming pool...ayun napabili siya ng Experia Arc ng wala sa oras eh ;D Even my ex-D7000 I didn't dare go test in the rain just for the heck of it. It's something that is good to have and good to know you have it in case you need it but wouldn't test it out lalo na kung ganito kamahal na gamit :D

Whoa!!! Nice!!! Keep goin' bros. This processing engine and the sensor really is something and it can almost hang with the apsc sized sensors as far as 3200. :)

For those who have these lenses, please post additional shots using a 12mm f2 and Olympus 9-18. I'm curious at the landscape ability of the camera using these two lenses. :)

Also, has any owner tested if there's real-time exposure simulation using live view in manual mode? Thanks a bunch  :)

Hey guys, sorry for the late update.

Anyhow, here are some things I found out.

1. The faint whirring sound is unnoticeable in videos, even the electronic zooming function of the lens won't be heard with the built-in mic. The sound is caused by the active IS (Image Stabilization). The whirring sound also moves when the body is tilted up/down/left/right.

2. The heat is caused by the OLED screen. Try tinkering with the time out settings to reduce the use of the screen and save more battery. I also disabled the sensor of the viewfinder. I prefer shooting in live view.

3. The IS is extremely superb! Just got back from a macro shoot today with Sir Orlee (ocninon) at UP Diliman. Let me post a Macro-Video I shot earlier at UP. Yes I shot a video on Macro mode using the 12-50mm kitlens and the IS is just unbelievably reliable. Got a video of bees in flight.  :D Let me find a video converter first.  :(

4. The 12-50mm kit lens is one of the best kit lenses I've used. From wide (24mm) to zoom (100mm) it's pretty much effective for everyday shooting. The electronic zooming plus IS works best for videos.

Let me post other updates soon. This is my official first day of playing with the OM-D. Will be out again this afternoon and will try shooting landscapes at harbour square.  ;)
