you can get any camera that fits your budget... "pinagsawaan"...i think this depicts if you really loose interest in photography. you can start with a simple camera body and the kit lens...if you want to try out a macro....then get a macro lens...then if your into landscapes...get a wide angle lens...so you're investing on the lens along the way. The thing to be contented with you're gear is to learn appreciate you're photos.

Of course you would still ask what to get between the two....

id say i would get the 1000d then use the money to save for my next potential lens.

Think out of the box.

actually, you can also do that with a point and shoot camera as long as it lets you control aperture settings..

But if you really want a DSLR, The price difference of the 1000D and 450D is relatively big, you can buy yourself a 50mm 1.8 prime lens na, although i'd suggest you hold off buying a new lens agad and focus on mastering the kit lens first.

if you're choosing between 1000D and 450D, go for the 450D. And as for your questions, try ko po sagutin hanggang sa aking makakaya ;D
Thanks po for the replies.. oo nga po, it varies sa lens.. uhm.. is EF 18-55mm IS lens is good for a beginner?magagawa ko na po ba yung mga photo na may blurred background and angat yung subject?i really like those type of shots po kasi..hehehe..:) thanks po ulit!!
Kit lens is the best lens for a beginner. Yes you can blur the background of your subject kahit na kit lens lang, its just a matter of putting the subject at a certain distance from the background, mas malayo ang pagitan nila, mas blurred.

Thanks po!! ask ko lang po, what is the difference po ba ng digicam sa dslr camera? hehehehe.. tsaka with the kit lens po ba, pwede ko po gawin yng photo na focus sa subject tapos yung background nya umaadar..:) eh sa point and shoot po kaya? hay..pasensya na po, dami tanong, excited lang magka dslr..hehehe.. gusto ko rin kasi gawin yung makukuha yung patak ng water..:) thanks po again!! :) ;)

Get whatever your money can afford. Go for 40D if you can afford it. Get 450D if that's how far your money can go. When you get a unit now, remember that you will always want to upgrade sometime soon. So, it's better to get the best that you can afford now.

Cheers!

Hehe, don't focus on the point and shoot, i just used that as an example :D

I think you're referring to panning shots when you say umaandar yung background, yes the kit lens can do that :D It's more of a shooting technique..

Yung patak nung ulan, medyo mas complicated siya, i think you may need a macro lens for that. Either a macro lens or a kit lens with lots of close-up filters.. (Anyone, feel free to correct me, hanggang ngayon wala pa din akong water droplet shots eh! hehe)
