http://www.pinoyphotography.org/forum/index.php/topic,102024.0.html

BTW, anyone tried installing the new firmware?

Here are the firmware changes nakita ko sa canon website
Firmware Version 1.1.2 incorporates the following improvements and fixes.

1. Supports a new accessory, GPS receiver GP-E2.

2. Fixes a phenomenon where a pink cast may develop over the image when the shutter is completely pressed with the camera’s power turned off (by the auto power off setting).

3. Fixes a phenomenon where the camera operation stops after one shot when shooting in High Dynamic Range (HDR) mode.

4. Fixes a phenomenon where the Shooting Date/Time in the EXIF data of the image shows a later time than the actual shooting time.

5. Fixes the time zone for the Samoa Islands.

6. Corrects errors in the Finnish menu screen. (Products for the Japanese market do not display the Finnish menu.)

Yung number 3 na experience ko kahapon. Kaya gusto ko mag upgrade. Ano masasabi nyo sa bagong firmware?

Lovely photos, @pjames. Over and above the camera IQ, you captured the love! Kinilig ako! :)

May I ask what White Balance you used here and what the environment was really like? Was it WYSIWYG? Very happy with how the intelligence of my 5DII's Auto WB works. Just want to know if the there is even better intelligence in 5DIII's Auto WB

Wow naman! How was the lens on the 5D3?

really like the slim factor, focus is fast enough and quiet, the image quality is very good. minor quirk is the lens extends when you focus at close distance and must remember to retract the lens when you turn off the camera. it will definitely find a lot of use to me, great value for the money :)
