Chasing Light 12: Laguna's Light

We went to Laguna last weekend with my batchmates/friends in Chasing Light. Laguna is only 2-4 hrs away from Manila a perfect getaway for those who has a busy schedule and wants to shoot landscapes in 1 day. thanks to sir Edwin Martinez for helping in our itenirary. this places were shot already countless times but its a good springboard for beginners like me.

our 1st stop is Sampaloc Lake 1:45 min away from Manila, this place is famous for Sunrise and Beautiful backdrop of an Inactive Volcano.

We arrived in Sampaloc Lake about 22 October 12pm perfect time to shoot I.R. perfect weather very hot but cloudy

as we continued our trip after the Sampaloc Lake we went to Kalayaan Twin Falls in Pagsanjan 1 hour from Sampaloc Lake

shooting waterfalls is quite challenging and relaxing because of the current of the water at the sametime you feel your like in SPA clean and relaxing current. Warning: bring extra clothes to this trip you might get wet in this trip

i was trying to shoot intimate landscape, i want to shoot the flowing water and the stone. i end up shooting this waterfall with no foreground

This was my 2nd time to shoot startrails, it was a perfect timing that night clear skies, full moon, a lot of stars. my only problem is i forgot to bring my extra batt. so my star trail was cut short because of my senior moments. anyways my star trails in Sampaloc Lake (c and c are most welcome)
