I think so, half the dimensions or 1/4 the area.

Additional reference... the X10 is the 2/3" (8.8 x 6.6 mm) sized sensor

regardless of the x10's sensor size... what make this camera amazing is its image quality and color rendition... for the amount you paid for vs a similar dslr camera... the X10 really gives one true value for money with the size and image quality you get from this amazing camera...

POGI AND SEXY CAMERA... hindi sitahin sa mall :)

 :D :D :D  Hahahaha  Sana nga meron...

Like everyone else in PIPHO... Im just your ordinary camera enthusiast... In tagalog...isang masigasig na "MERON" sa X10 thread... hehehehe

But for the weekend potog and family / event "PIKTURE... PIKTURE" photo ops... the X10 easily delivers DSLR quality shots at a very reasonable price :)

Also, due to its compact and lightweight package... Madali lang dalahin sa MALLS or sudden photo ops shoots...... hindi hassle like my D700+85 1.4 setup before... ;D (but i miss the FF setup i had before... maybe someday pag may pera ulit)  :D

Hi everyone, I'm looking to get the JJC lens hood, but read of complaints that the slits in the JJC lens hood allow dust to settle in the lens. Ano po ang experience ninyo with that? What's the best combo in terms of filter and lens hood that avoids this issue? Thanks in advance!

Kaya may slit/opening yung JJC hood is to allow the front element of the X10 breathe  ;D ;D ;D hahaha JOWK lang poh...

I guess tama si ARKI... just cover the opening with some tape to prevent dust from getting in... This is a non issue for me...  NEVER TOUCHED THE FRONT ELEMENT GLASS OF MY X10 EVER...  just use a dust blower (as needed) if there are dust accumulation inside the hood...

Thanks for the advice, everyone! I don't want to put a tape around the lens hood kasi parang masisira yung "bangis" factor nya. Siguro nga dust blower na lang. Still ended up buying the Gariz half case and JJC lens hood (Super thanks, Lis!). I didn't realize the Gariz half case added considerable bulk to the set-up. But it's really nice, and even with the lens hood, the entire camera fits perfectly in my SnapR bag. With the camera looking so retro-yummy, it would be a shame not to invest on pimping it :) Besides my husband, it's my favorite accessory  ;D

May sample images ba kung gaano kalala ang vignette? Magkano naman ang damage nito?

Magkano naman kaya? Kung half the price lang ng Original Fuji then pwede na - packs the same mAh as the OEM lang, sana merong mas mataas.

Hello X10 owners, haha first post 8)

I have that Kodak battery as a spare on my X10 and I paid SGD$6 for it. Performance-wise it performs about 80-85% compared to the original (using LCD about 90% of the time). Ebay has this available and I suggest you get it as your main battery and use the original as a spare. cheers!
