I recently got a Canon S95 and it has proven to be an amazing camera so far. Many times, i've found myself in situations where I regret not having my dslr gear with me. Well not anymore with this small but impressive camera. It's so small, I always carry it in my pant pocket, ready to be pulled out for some impromptu snapping. I've owned 4 point and shoot cameras over the last 7 years but haven't really used any of them in about 2 years mainly because of so-so IQ and poor low light performance. Well again, not anymore. IQ and low light performance from compact cameras / point and shoots have come a long way. IQ is still a few notches below dslr performance but always having a lower than dslr IQ camera beats not having a camera with you all the time
It would be perfect if there would be an APSCmos sensor (or better yet, full-frame sensor) in a camera body this small. The Fuji X100 is still too big. C'mon Nikon,Canon,Olymus,Panasonic,Sony, Samsung ... please find a way to make it in my lifetime
Anyway, i'm happy with the S95 and we figure to have a lot of interesting adventures ahead of us

Pics are with no flash used unless specified. A bit of sharpening and resizing done.

The only available light here was from a restaurant on the left and 1 lamp.

Was at Tiendesitas the other night and chanced upon a Momma mary exhibit. Good thing the S95 was in my pocket.
