^ exactly what I had in mind. great shot mond!

thanks a lot partner gawin mo sa new zealand yan ha :p yung timelapse ni jaime malupit nka boxer short yan habang nasa taas kame ng bundok 1am - 6am walang kwenta yung wind chill hahaha.

idol mitz, papa jon, norman, edwink, macky salamat salamat :)

mike post na!

Batanes lies at the northernmost tip of the Philippines, where the Pacific Ocean merges with the South China Sea. It is composed of three major islands, namely: Batan which contains the capital town of Basco, Sabtang, and Itbayat the weather here is cool during our stay.

Our second day was activity-packed with a tour on a rented van around the west side of the island. We started with a quick trip to Mavatoy and Diura to scout the place and a sunset shoot at Rolling Hills.

Rolling Hills and Mt. Iraya in the background

Canon 5Dmk2 and 17-40mm, 2 0.9 ND grad handheld, Hoya ND8 and Phottix CPL

itong spot na ito ang pwestuhan ng mga koreano and some tourist, each post + 1 korean = FTW! hahaha. Shooting Batanes was really hard, it demands passion, perseverance, dedication and courage. A 24-50 kph wind sweeping the vista. one of my ND grad got swept away by the wind

Day 3: 2 of the GBL alumni arrived at Basco. Daving Cheng/+1 and Kenny Mijares

Here's our 1st sunrise at Diura while waiting for them.

Duira is a tiny village of Mahatao facing the Pacific Ocean. It's around three kilometers east of the town proper. Diura is most know as a fishing area for mahi-mahi or dolphin fish which is called dorado in Batanes.

For the longest time I've been using a B+W slim kaesemann CPL for this whole trip I was using the Phottix CPL all the time since my b+w rim was damage. I was amazed by the results in my photographs giving me a warm and cool tones just like the b+w.

March 10-15, 2011.

My most gifted trip so far - managed to explore Batanes and was able to shoot alongside again with Raymond,Mike & Jaime.

GBL mentors, please do allow me to share my shot of Chadpidan Beach in a different perspective.

"Cleansing of the past." - A sunset along the shores of Chadpidan Beach.
