Oh OK, got it, bro...

I already own a 50mm Macro, but the thing is, I donno how to fully utilize it...  Bought it despite the littlest knowledge to Photography...:D  Got a lil' impulsive, a friend advised that it was a good deal nonetheless...  BTW, it's an EF 50mm f/2.5 Macro...

That lens can only go 1:0.5x or half life size, using a macro filter (like raynox) or auto ext tubes may increase it's reproduction to 1:1x.

I think the price of this set-up is almost the same with the price of "real" macro lenses like the ones I mentioned above.

Hi mga sirs! just a noob question. :) please be gentle.. hehe i have +10 close up filter and i use it in my 55-200mm lens, question is pag nasa 200mm focal length ako wala na ako makitang subject, mas madalas nga 55mm na lang gamit ko.. more than that i cannot see anything but blurred views. hehe ganun po ba talaga yun? does it mean na mas ok sya gamitin sa 18-55mm lens? thank you sa mga sasagot! :)

Naka-try ako dati ng +10 close-up filter on my 55-200.. up to 180mm lang may nakukuha akong maayos.. any focal length longer pa dun, hirap nako i-handle yung camera shake kaya blurry na.

Based sa experience ko dati, need ko i-crop pag 18-55 tyaka macro filter ang gamit. Kung gusto mo better magnification, you can try the reverse ring set-up.

Btw, if you would like to see the magnification power of reverse lens set-up, you may check http://www.pinoyphotography.org/forum/index.php?topic=93318.0 for a simple experiment I did.

^thanks sir! i have read the link too. i'll try reverse set up din. but i am thinking what if I add +1 +2 +4 close up filter, will it be more magnified? mas malaki ba ung subject? +10 lang po kasi ang meron ako.. :) i'm thinking if i would need to buy the other 3 to add to my current +10 or just try reverse lens adapter? honestly natatakot ako magreverse set up since prone sa dumi ung lens? hehe thank you ulit! :)

Dumi ba kamo? Pwede naman mag-diy.. eto diy cover ko.. hehe
http://www.pinoyphotography.org/forum/index.php?topic=93397.0

Haven't tried yung +1 +2 and +4 filters.. but i think, stacking too many filters can somehow affect the image quality, especially if generic lang. Hintay na lang tayo, baka may maka-share ng experience nila with such set-up. :)

I think this is the appropriate thread for my macro shoot which was taken using +10 Close Up Filter. Here's my share. . .
