I miss the days of manual focusing, coz there's none of these front & back focusing issues. Looking back, I have about the same percentage of correctly focused and out of focus shots with both MF & AF. Sometimes, MF wins in terms of speed. With my 350 & 300D, I have to manually transfer the focusing point sometimes, which is way slower than just manual focusing with a camera using a split-image focusing guide, or the ever reliable fresnel focusing screen on a really wide 35mm viewfinder (against the small VF of the 350D).

Its both lens and camera body issue. Was just checking my lens on this, tried seeing if after focusing on the eyeball I'd really get the eyeball focused and not the eyelashes, buti naman tama, otherwise front-focusing sya. :)
