Yup on going ito ngayon and currently on the quarter finals na. Im using 70-300mm f4.5-5.6G po sir.

hindi po sila strict sa San Juan Arena so anyone can shoot the game.

nakikita mo ba ako dito sa Arena minsan...minsan na lang akong manood...as in manood lang...tamad ng magshoot....sa UAAP volley na lang uli....

Game Photos between Lyceum and University of Santo Tomas.

Lyceum ended its 14 consecutive loss to UST since 2004 in a thrilling 30-32, 25-15, 23-25, 25-23, 15-10 victory yesterday, May 16, 2010, in Game One of their Final Four showdown in the Shakey’s V-League Season 7 at The Arena.

Love your shots!! Especially the mid-air action shots.

What settings did you use? Is it that bright in that arena? Did you post process?

I'm just surprised that the lens you used isn't f2.8 or bigger.

For the first 3 sets, my settings was Incandescent, ISO 3200/6400, between 1/500 and 1/640 shutter speed at f5.6.

In the last set, Incandescent, ISO 3200, f2.8, 1/800.

Light in the Arena was manageable but I still have to compensate with the settings to take some decent shots. No major PP done, just a little EV adjustments and some cropping.  ;)

Game Photos between San Sebastian and Ateneo played last May 16, 2010.

SSC rolled to a 25-21, 25-18, 25-18 victory over Ateneo, minus the injured star Charo Soriano.

Sontaya pulls a quick one

very nice pics sir! our place is just 5 mins away from Arena, I used to watch(and shoot) din minsan jan. You should've shot last season, nung kakaiba pa uniform ng ateneo....1 piece ek ek...LOL ganda!

I just need to correct you on the one-piece uniform of Ateneo, it's not a Shakey's Vleague season, It's the 72 Season of UAAP volleyball...
