Lehboy, I use a Fuji X100 with a filter diameter of 49mm. I intend to use the 52mm ND on it with a step-up filter adapter. Will there be a potential problem with this setup?

Bossing, question lang about this product.

I bought one of these around August last year. I rarely use this. Last month, I noticed ayaw na niyang dumilim pag iniikot ko. Hindi ko alam kung bakit. So tinago ko sa case niya muna. Nung sinubukan ko ulit, ayun mukhang gumana na ulit. But just shortly after, it stopped working again.

It looks like there is something wrong with how the two glass panels are connected. Sakit ba ito ng ND filter na 'to and is there a way to fix this?
