Lost Canon System
« on: December 27, 2011, 07:13:30 PM »
Guys,

Before you purchase any of the listed Canon items, please double check first the serial nos as you may be buying fenced items from my whole camera bag. I accidentally left my bags today, December 27, at the trunk of a taxi in Diliman QC. Details of my stuff are as follows:

Canon 7D Body - SN3814B001AA
Canon BG-E7 - SN3815B001AA
Canon 17-55 2.8IS - missing serial number from box but it has a carbonized hood
Canon 70-200 4L - SN2578A002AA
Canon 580 EXII - SN1946B002AA

Other stuff like remote trigger, extra generic flash, batts and 16GB and 4GB CF included. All these are in a black and green Mekko camera bag.

I still believe that there are lots of honest cabbies and I would think that the one we rode in has it in him. I just hope that all of his other passengers are good hearted and honest also.

If you have any information about my gear, kindly PM me or reply in this post.

Whats worse is that I haven't downloaded any of my family's events this holiday season. Son's 8th bday, other son's 9th bday, noche buena, christmas parties, etc  :'( :'(

Thanks Pipho!

Sana talaga bro.. pero honestly, I'm still optimistic na makukuha ko pa. It was a series on unfortunate events for me today. Car broke, lost camera bag and son slipped and fell. Kung hindi nasiara agad kotse ko and I was able to get to NLEX, baka worse pa nangyari sa amin today.

Anyway, keeping my fingers crossed :o

Sorry for you lost bro...

Do you remember the name of the cab or better yet the plate number? It would be easier for you to track the cab that way...

Thats the worse part, I usually get the plate number and text it to my wife pero since magkasama kami i didn't bother to get it. And besides, mga 3km lang yung travel so I didn't think something like this will happen.

Naku Wowie! Sana nga maibalik! :o Good luck men!

Bro i think luck and miracle combined ang kailangan ko ;D

Try to remember the name of the cab you rode that day, mattrace mo pa yan via LTO.

Ric I tried checking the CCTV of the bank across from where we boarded kaso sa ATM lang daw nila nakatapat. Bukas I plan on going to ABS and GMA baka sakali napadpad dun yung mabait ;)"fingers crossed" na taxi driver ko...

Hopefully tomorrow meron na ako closure ;D for now i'm trying to learn wifey's lx5 ;D

I left my whole kit in a taxi's trunk too but the Good Lord saw it fit to return it to me. I pray he does the same for you friend.
