Visited your store yesterday, planning to buy a Nissin Di622 Mark2.
The website pixelpro-online listed the price as P6,256 but at the store the price is P6,800.
Which is which? Also, saw the Di622 Mark1 price at P7,000

Kinuha nung guy yung clearbook, sabi niya 22,600 daw.(which is mataas pa rin kase 20,500 lang sa henry's)
sabi ko "ahh okay"
then sabi niya "sir 21,500 nalang kelangan niyo ba kukunin"

ano yun may cut yang mga sales person niyo diyan? paano namin malalaman kung tama yung binibigay nilang presyo? naawa ako dun sa mga taong nagwwalk-in lang at hindi nakakapagresearch sa internet.

May pumasok dyan sa mega mall branch niyo. Naka d3100 magasawa at galing pa ng probinsiya. Nagtanong na anong magandang lens na para sa anak lang gagamitin. Eh hala ang pinipilit ng staff niyo ay ang 70-200 which cost around 100+k or 90+k tama ba? Naawa ako kaya kinapalan ko na muka ko at tinuruan yun magasawa. Ano yan? Makabenta lang kayo? I have been a long time customer of their Megamall and VMall branch and I have never experience things like this. They are very helpful and courteous all the time. They even give me special discounts once in a while.
 

With the 70-200 issue you're talking about. Of course, if I'm the seller, I would upsell! The customer has the right to decide if they will buy it or not. Parang Jollibee lang yan bro. The customer was asking ano magandang lens and the 70-200 is a great lens.

I know you would say masyado namang overkill yung suggestion but that's business. The customer has the right to buy or not. I'm sure, if the buyer knew about its price, he/she won't get it. Mas mahal pa sa body Nya gun.

I hope maintindihan mo yun pinopoint out ko. Eh sige. What if kumagat? Matitiis ba ng konsyensya mo na nakabenta ka ng 120k lens sa taong naghahanap lang ng pang family? I hope hindi kayo nabubulag sa pera. If alam na mali ang ginagawa ng jollibee like what you illustrated. Eh di wag na po gayahin.

Same as neilic I am not connected with Pixel Pro and I would have to agree with his point. But to add to it another prime example are other appliance stores will also try to up sell most of their equipment to try to reach their quota(e.g. buying a LCD/LED TV, computers and etc where they try to get you to buy a higher model and other accessories that you may not need at all).

I think you are looking at this one dimensionally so isispin mo din yung Sales person kung hindi siya makaabot doon sa quota baka mawawalan siya ng trabahob. Even the business itself, pag hindi sila umabot sa sales target nila for the store magsasara na lang sila. Lastly hindi naman nila fino-force bilhin yung 70-200 at gun point diba, the sales person is just giving the best option and he is not assuming that they don't have the capacity to buy it.

In the end remember this is a business establishment and not a non-profit organization. In addition, the customer also has responsible to research first what they are buying and what they really need.
