good lens for walk around? 24-70 or 24-105

since meron ka na 10-22mm get the 24-105mm F4L. You can always bring your 10-22mm with you since its a light lens.

i've been in this same situation before and ended up going for the 24-105 since i use my camera mostly for travel and outdoors.

but, either way...24-70 or 24-105, you really can't go wrong. it's just a matter of which features you would need most... f/2.8 or IS + longer reach.

your 10-22 would really complement either lenses. but for me,
10-22 + 24-105 = dynamic duo.

pag takot ka sa araw at ayaw mo umitin... 24-70 jk kidding aside, if you're gonna use it for travel and you don't wanna bring another lens. 24-104 is the best choice.... however, if you need to take pictures indoors, low-light situations and fast action scenes... i think mas sulit 24-70...

for a 500d body naman, i agree sa sabi nung iba na 17-55 2.8 (it's somewhere in between the 2 lenses on a full-frame cam kasi + it's 2..

If in a low light situation and you're not trying to stop action, the 24-105L is much more handholdable than the 24-70L. With proper technique, you can get sharp shots at 1/5 sec even at 105mm with IS on.
