Went to Burgos, Ilocos Norte last week to shoot Tanap-Avis Falls and Ka-Angrian Falls. Learned about Ka-Angrian Falls falls from Mon Corpuz' recent thread...nagandahan at nainggit ako kaya nagyaya ako na bumiyahe din d'un

Together with friends Ronald, Mayk and Michael, we toured Ilocos for 4 days. Eto na mga photos:

Tanap-Avis Falls is 3.5kms drive from Burgos town + 30 mins trek. It has clear, blue waters and many waterfalls and cascades.

OJ: CPL ang common filter na ginamit ko. Kung minsan ginagamitan ko rin ng ND8, ND4 or ND106....depende sa ilaw/liwanag.

Here are some trekking shots while on the way to Tanap Avis:

Michael along the steel walkway. The water in the canal supplies the ricefields, while the black pipe supplies water to the residents.

Ka-Angrian Falls on the other hand can be reached by trekking 45 mins from the drop-off point.

I'm envious, more envious kasi post-poned na naman Ilocos Norte trip ko =(

Alford, if its okay with you, let's print 1 or 2 big photos and give to Burgos Tourism Office so they can preserve these wonders.

Welcome to Pipho Myke, credit is due to Apo Noli Conde Gabillo and Sir Bobby Wong, I merely follow their trails and travel. (Did you know that I even havent meet this two fellow?, but most of their guides nakasama ko na).

I really admire this photo of yours -

I believed you would agree with me that cascades in Burgos embodies a zen-like qualities, yung mga trees were like big bonsais clinging on photogenic, porous boulders of rock.

Let's shoot sometime with Sir Alford.

the Tanap-Avis' picturesque landscape is a haven for photogs. Our guide and even Burgos' Mayor himself told us about its "Niagara Falls" like section if you will just go further enough but we'll leave that to you guys to discover...
appreciation coming from a seasoned travel-photog like you means alot from a newbie like me and btw, I would like to give due credit to Sir Noli Gabilo and Sir Bobby Wong

I'll be sending Kuya Rolly few prints of Kaangrian Falls to Burgos LGU when they go back on the 26th. You might want to send some photos of yours and Alford so they have a copy.
