Ok kaya ito? Benro A500EX or ito ang magandang kuhanin, di kasi nagkakalayo ng presyo! :) Salamat sa makakapag-advice,

WFC-596 Carbon Fibre Tripod

Folded Height: 715mm
Maximum Operating Height: 1935mm
Minimum Height: 725mm
Net Weight: 2310g
Maximum Load Weight: 10kg

Additional Features:
Quick Twist Leg Lock
Low angle Shot
Center Column attached with Hook
Tripod Case

Price: PHP 3,900.00 (Inclusive of Ballhead)

I have this weifeng tripod model, quite light and it extends almost 2 meters high when extended.  It's quite light as well. I was carrying this the whole day last Saturday during our Org's photowalk (and my wife was carrying it with ease when she was doing IR photography).

As for the weight it carries,  well, it can carry my 40D + 1200mm lens w/out any problems. I have yet to try this out on water, but I think for as long as the legs are not fully extended, it'll be able to resist the waves.

just bought a benro a300ex w/ bh-1 head at watsons today for 3.4k.

very good quality, di umuuga. mas mura talaga sa watson kesa sa mall.

yung mall price ng a500ex w/ bh-1 head, 4.4k. sa watson, 3.6k lang.

i recommend these tripods if you dont mind the weight.

these are definitely bang for the buck. it even comes with a nice tripod bag with strap, and also, tripod adjustment tools.

lenses and cameras are worthless if not for the photographer's skill.

Mabigat at mahal kaya i sold mine and got a manfrotto 190xprob with 498rc2 ballhead.

If you are shooting landscapes dapat sbrang sturdy ng tripod mo at kaya ang mga gears na isasampak mo :)

clip locks are defenitely faster to set-up/take down compared sa twist locks. pero ingat sa travel kasi prone to snagging  lalo na kung walang case. pilay ang tripod kung ma de-form or worse, mag snap yung clip-lock. happened to me long time ago, out of town shoot. ayun, vice grip ang katapat para tumayo. buti na lang heavy duty na manfrotto, at may replacement parts sa Gamboa mkti. but eventually got a twist lock too, pang travel. yung clip-locks ko for studio use.

It depends on how heavy your gear is. I use a manfrotto 190xprob for landscapes. Check filtersxchange site for benro tripods :)

Ako I'm currently eyeing this tripod:

Sirui T025 Carbon Fibre
max height: 1305mm
folded height: 300mm
weight: 600 grams (parang 4x na iphone 4 lang)
max load: 6 kg

very very light pero can carry a 6kg load grabe talaga.

Its good... but the thing is... any added complexity to an already moveable fixture will also increase the chances of it failing... so in my case i got me a monopod and a travel tripod.

I'm using the 596 CF and so far it's usable in sea water, mud and fresh water.  It's stable enough to carry my 40D + grip + zoom lenses.

When you use this in the sea, just make sure you wash it thoroughly after use.  While the legs are CF, the twist locks are still made of aluminium. sand + salt water can still corrode the alum.
