kung ayaw sa takaw mata, i suggest getting  that crumpler haven insert-like-thing tapos itapon mo na sa jansport bag mo :D
lenses and cameras are worthless if not for the photographer's skill.

i also have 7MDH at ang mga laman:
- D7000 with battery grip and Tammy 17-50mm attached
- 50mm 1.8D
- SB700 flash
- Tokina 50-135
- Nikkor 80-200

Saktong-sakto, at matibay ang pag-kagawa. Magandang gamitin for easy access in street photog. Ang gusto ko rito is yung added security na manonotify ka kung may magbubukas ng bag mo habang nasa likod mo dahil sa velcro, maingay pag binuksan.

Hmmm honetly namamahalan talaga ako. Design-wise maganda siya pero mas type ko pa din Lowepro or Tamrac for their straight-forward functional design and price point.

i think the 6MDH would fit those gears. 4MDH will be small for those.

Sulit ba Crumpler Bag?
« Reply #208 on: August 28, 2012, 12:09:40 PM »
One time mine got half submerged in a lake. Dahil makapal ang padding di pinasok yung loob. I also got my 7MDH tumbled down from a chair. In it was my ipad, 7d plus grip and a flash. They are still working perfectly after that. I guess its worth the price after all.

I got my 7MDH during the sale last year (I think it was 50% off) so I can say that it's sulit na sulit. I can fit a D300 with Batt grip and Tamron 17-55 attached. A flash plus an 80-200mm and an ipad. Medyo it won't fit if I attach the 80-200.

too bulky for me ang MDH series. Got my 6MDH before binenta ko agad. Mas prefer ko backpack.

Went bagshopping (messenger type) last week and ended up with a crumpler 7mdh.

Came from a Kata bag(sensitivity v) which had a broken zipper. I can't find anyone that can repair it so I decided kata won't be my next bag.
Looked at lowepro and the paddings were a disappointment.
Domke was nice but at a much higher price.
No benro bag can double as a daily laptop bag.
Tenba was a target but I didn't find any.

Plus the new mdh has a handy tripod strap so I was sold.
Am not a fan of the new paddings though.

Hmmm honetly namamahalan talaga ako. Design-wise maganda siya pero mas type ko pa din Lowepro or Tamrac for their straight-forward functional design and price point.

Same sentiment. Nice modern design obviously targeting the younger generation. Too pricey!

But I still prefer the professional-looking lowepro bags or the very cost effective benro bags.

Have you tried lowepro fastpack 350? It has a huge laptop compartment.

re: capacity

my 6mdh usually has the ff: 1100d, 55-250mm, 50mm, 7 inch tablet, cellphone, iPod, chargers and cables, cleaning kit, and other small items. i still have room to spare for maybe another lens and a flash. oh and it can also carry my tripod using the built in straps.

re: price

+1 crumpler bags are very expensive no doubt. pero if you really want one, you can buy on installment. 3 to 6 mos to pay from authorized Crumpler shops.

re: style

the loud colors are what sold me aside from the well thought-out design and build quality of the bags. (i guess just got tired of the usual black/gray camera bags that i see everywhere. :) ). the bags do stand out.

re: camera bags in general

mainit talaga sa mata ang crumpler just like most branded camera bags i suppose.  pero, i've always believed that kahit anong bag pa yang dala ko, ke mura o mahal, pag na swertehan, yun na yun. as much as possible, i just try to keep my crumpler secure as with any of my other non-camera bags.

hope this helps.
