Dry boxes and weather-sealed lenses

Do weather sealed lenses have to be stored in dry boxes? Does weather sealing help prevent fungal growth?

Yes.

Does weather sealing help prevent fungal growth?
No. Most spores are microscopic in size.
Lenses: Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM, Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM, Canon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM, Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM, Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM

but before that.... it starts as if theres no molds.... its invisible to the eye...grows then eventually becomes like that. Check out the drybox thread....read from there and you would learn a lot.  ;D
Think out of the box.
