Im just new in photography.. but i like shooting portraits.. what lens can u suggest? oh by the way, im just using my kit lens for now..

You can try the 50 mm f1.8 or 1.4. But if your into zoon lens, I suggest to get either 24 - 70 f2.8 L.

coz i was thinking about 17-85 to go with my 70-300, but the tammy 17-50 sounds good with its wide open aperture. my only worry is the compatibility issue my 3rd parties.  :)

Gurus, already read many threads about "walk around lenses" and i would like to ask what you think about Canon 28-135 IS USM and Sigma 24-70/2.8 EX DG macro.. Thanks!!!

hi sirs, this is my current lens lineup:

1. 18-55 kitl lens non-is
2. 55-250 EFS IS
3. 50mm mark II prime

i want to replace the 18-55 kit cos i feel IQ is very far compared to the 2 others. ano kaya ang maganda? hobbyist lang shoot anything photographer hehe. ty

I upgraded mine to 17-55mm f2.8 IS USM

Picture quality is totally on a different level.

Only complaint is its too bulky and heavy.
