Just bought Tammy 17-55 from Henry's last sat... He still has stocks left..
Just be careful in choosing the lens... The first unit I tested have back focusing issue...
Nevertheless, I am enjoying the one I bought... Very good IQ at f5.6 compared to my kitlens.  :)

Im also interested in getting this type of lens. Kaya lang meron bang gantong lens with IS/VC/OS? Pasmado kasi ako kaya I guess its better for me to have a lens with IS/VC/OS. Researched a bit and didnt find 2.8 na IS/OS lens sa Canon and Sigma. How about Tamron and Tokina?

Just got the Sigma 18-50f2.8 about 2 weeks ago.

Very nice and sharp.  Mabilis din ang AF and quiet.

Having a local distributor (JT Photo) is also nice in case there is any need to have the lens serviced.

here's another vote for the Tamron 17-50 f/2.8
medyo plasticky nga lang yung build, but so far the image quality is great. much better than my kit lens and 17-85mm

i don't think there's a lens in this range with IS/OS/VC, but i might be wrong

For wide lens:

i will go for Tamron 17-50mm F2.8

For long lens:

i will go for Sigma 70-200mm F2.8
If we are having trouble, it is so that you will be comforted and renewed. If we are comforted, it is so that you will be comforted. Then you will be able to put up with the same suffering we have gone through. 7 Our hope for you remains firm. We know that you suffer just as we do. In the same way, God comforts you just as he comforts us.
