AF tuning with your D300 after v1.10 firmware upgrade
« on: October 30, 2008, 03:16:06 PM »
D300 users,

What changes have you now made with your AF tuning after the v1.10 upgrade?

I have read forums stating that after the upgrade, they are now able to turn OFF the AF tuning and get tack sharp pictures.

Would appreciate all inputs.

Thanks

I'll check this out as well, already updated my firmware to V1.10...so far the images look the same...but haven't really done a lot of tests and shoots lately...something definitely worth doing over the weekend.
...how far can you run into a forest?
...200 feet...500 feet...doesn't matter....you can only run halfway in, the rest of the time is spent running out

any suggestions with the new AF tuning settings with the 17-55 and 80-200 afd for those who went through AF tuning again using both lenses?

i dont have much time to do the tests myself. i currently am maintaining all settings before but i am seeing some BFing. will turn it off and see if it would improve.

thanks again.
