Wonderful moisture absorber from JT
« on: July 03, 2008, 01:03:44 PM »
Hi i have my moisture absorber from JT Photoworld. Normal lang ba if the window indicator has some pink balls and the majority is white balls.

At first kala ko yung white should turn pink if full na. So i didn't plugged it to refresh kala ko ok pa. When my friend bought one lahat ng balls daw nya is dark violet. If its full It turned into pink. I tried to plug mine. yung pink turned dark violet and yung white white pa din.

**The white remain white. The pink/blue ones are there to indicate if you need to dry the dessicant (recharge).

**Pink when wet, blue when dry.

when will be the time that you need to replace the moisture absorber? is there a "shelf life" for the moisture absorber?

Be sure to have a humidity indicator because it is hard to see all the pinks colors.

Hi, this is an old thread but I have questions on this item
is there anyone who can help please?

I bought this Wonderful Electronic Moisture Absorber from JT
The pink balls are still pink after 1 hour of charging

- Ive noticed water/moisture inside the item, is this normal?
do I still need to recharge some more? for how many hours?

- the item is warm/hot, is it ok, if I put it in the dry box
even though hot?

I still see water inside the absorber along with the pink balls.

thanks guys.

I also have this dessicant.  Unfortunately the instructions are all in chinese script.  From what I understand, the white balls are there to make it easier to compare the colors when the blue ones( which look more violet than blue) are already saturated with moisture and turns to pink.  The white ones more or less remain white and are the main moisture absorber.  The colored ones are only indicators.
Be good to the people you meet on your way up because they will be the same people you will meet on your way down.

when the meter goes above 55 or even before, i recharge it for 2 hours and then let it cool for 20 minutes before placing back in the box...this should work...

+1 on this.

as per the instructions posted on the wall in JT, you should plug it in for two hours then let it cool down for 30 minutes before placing it back in your drybox.
