Sana marelease na to dito, para I can compare and choose between this and the Nikon d60!

Kung mag d60 pa din ako, malamang nga tama yung prediction na magrereadjust ang Nikon ng pricing especially when at release the 1000D is priced similarly to their d60.  :)

i was at hidalgo this afternoon...
went to Mayer's, konti lang tao...
konting kwentuhan with Mang Ramon (malamig ulo e... he he he...)
i asked if he knew about the 1000D...
he said the model might be available sa October pa, and he considers this model raw as a "toy"...
completely newbie here...
hope it's not too late...

Sales talk ni Mang Ramon... hehe  Kung sinabi nya na hintayin mo nalang ang 1000d, di nya mabebenta ang 450d na presently marami syang stock!   ;D

V2, Skip the 1000D and get the 450D na lang :) wala kasing proximity sensor yun 1000D to automatically turn off the LCD, less AF points but the bright side is that it's the lightest EOS DSLR with new technology.. tempting talaga if you're a first timer into DSLR (like me!) ..I'm thinking na pang regalo na lang sa misis sa pasko :) If we keep waiting for the next technology, sayang ang opportunity to shoot and shoot.

Although na-excite ako dito sa 1000D :) Canon will now go head to head to with the Nikon D40/D60s with this entry level baby.

bili na para makashoot, wag mo na antayin ang 1000D, mas importante na makakuha ka ng pics kaysa mag-antay ng equipment :)
L lenses have really helped my photography, because I ran out of excuses.

The 450d is obviously the better camera. The 1000d is like the 450D's little brother.

Easy decision lang naman.  Calculate yun price difference, and consider if it's worth the extra features for you:

  • 12 Megapixels
  • 3" LCD Screen
  • Proximity sensor for automatic on/off screen
  • High Precision center AF point for lenses f2.8 or faster
  • Spot Meter
  • 3.5 fps burst in RAW mode instead of 1.5 fps
  • Bigger viewfinder
  • Rubberized Grip
  • 14-bit RAW
  • Highlight Tone Priority

I think that sums up all the difference between the EOS 1000D and EOS 450D.

the difference is quite obvious between 450D and 1000D.. 450D really has the advantage... you can compare 1000D to 450D's older brother the 400D model.

interesting talaga tong EOS 1000d.... ISO 1600 is soo clean here's the link

http://www.dpreview.com/gallery/canoneos1000D_preview/

I think its better than both 60d and 450d's ISO 1600... pictures are sharper and detailed. Colors are really impressive

I'm thinking of shifting na tuloy

This cleary means that 450D is not anymore the "entry-level" of Canon EOS cameras. I'm glad that this came out!  ;)

No Past. No Future. Just the moment.

Photography is a window where you can appreciate simple things in Life you didn't even seem to take notice of...

Now, Canon has 4 levels. What do we name the new 1?

A photographer who was invited to someone’s house for dinner and to show some photos he’d taken from a trip.
The host was gushing over his pictures and said, “Wow, you must have a really nice camera to take such great photos!’.
To which he replied, "Wow, dinner was great! You must have some really nice pots and pans!”
