my post count was deducted to 10. AFAIK, i don't post pad (except for today when i was really awestruck by the light painting thread). maybe i should wait another 500 posts before i try selling an item here.

Mas ok siguro kung magpost ng mas informative and some photos to inspire other members than to say, NICE, WOW and GREAT!

To be honest, being a newbie and not ashamed of being one, i like to ask so many questions and even follow up questions to my own and others' questions because that is how i learn. However, I tend to prevent myself from asking too many questions so as not to be suspected of post padding.

My question is, if a person is being suspected of post padding, will that person receive a private message from the moderators so he/she can at least defend his/her posts?

Salamat po  ;)

 Post Padding

Post padding is the practice of posting multiple replies one after another in a single thread, rather than using of the edit function, or posting a single reply responding to multiple comments. Post padding can also constitute pointless posting aimed at increasing one's post count. People who do this are known as post padders.

Replying to a single post over multiple responses, unnecessarily thread bumping, and the posting of unnecessary replies in place of using the edit post feature can also constitute post padding.

i'm surprised, madami palang naging problema din to ng mga newbies. good thing! natuto na tayo hehehe

question: post padding applies only to same thread with multiple replies... tama po ba? parang i-consolidate muna lahat ng ire-reply before ipost.

Yung tipong nagrereply ka kahit sa mga lumang thread, puro "nice shots" or "TFS" lang ang reply mo, or umaabot ka ng 50 posts in one day which is very uncommon to reach.

I use to post pad before...but no intentions in raising my post count. before there are times when i reply to a thread.... then i click on the  post button then after a few seconds i want to add a reply in connection to my initial post.... then "click". a post just after my post ;D didnt know it was called post padding back then.
Think out of the box.

sa akin kasi it all boils down to the motive behind the comments/replies on the threads. wala sa kung isang milya man yung sinagot mo o isang one liner lang..

sabi nga nila it is more of a privilege than a right (posting at the FS sections)... kahit yung pagiging forum member natin is also a privilege, kaya nararapat lang naman siguro na sundin natin ang mga patakaran at alituntunin nung talagang bumubuo ng Pipho.organization. Alalahanin kasi natin na this is a community kung saan we should discuss and share more about photography. Ideas ha...hindi gears ang tinutukoy ko... Ngayon kung you're after gaining more (profit) for yourself, eh naku mali kayo ng bahay na pinuntahan. Nasa kabilang ibayo po ang TPC, SULIT, Buy and Sell at iba pang Philippine classified ads websites.

Hindi naman talaga imposible na mangyari yun, pero wala pa ata nangyaring ganun na umabot ng 50 or more posts in a day pero hindi naman nagbenta.

Enjoy mo lang ang stay mo dito, join discussions, ask questions, share photos, di mo mapapansin naka 50 posts ka na, by then pwede ka na magbenta without post padding. :)
