Scenic El Nido Resort, Palawan

I got here twice. The first time I only have my K800i. This time around I brought my LUMIX FZ8. Was I happy I did.

It took me a lot of attempts to capture this bird. When it started hunting for food, I knew it was going to step into my picture.

The mangrove beside the airport is a challenging pic. I looked for a spot where there will be contrast between the greens to make it interesting. I found one.

The beach beside the airport has a pier. It's another picturesque scene

Around the airport, there are many little pictures waiting to be captured. I haven't gone to Lagen or Miniloc yet.

A tree, a road, dramatic sky although cliche ang dating hindi ko mapalagpas :-) I waited for the sun pero tuwing darating ako sa spot na ito nawawala siya.

Flowers are another favorite ko when traveling. Here is one.

Between Lagen and Miniloc, the latter proved to be more picturesque. It has a very scenic pier.

The speed boat by the pier offered a dramatic scene kahit na walang wide-angle feature iyong digicam.

The restaurant faces the pier. And this is the view I couldn't resist.

I woke up early the next day to take a dawn picture of the pier. It looked nearly black-and-whitish.

It rained the day we arrived. So, nag-isip ako kung may maha-hunt na pic sa pag-ulan. This one got my attention using my 12X zoom capability.

Tulad ng sabi ko very scenic ang Miniloc so I went around and hunted for the right spots.

Hi, thanks for sharing!

I hope you don't mind if I post some pictures of Lagen also.

Taken with a Powershot A80.

This is a photo of the river near the airport.  All that mangroves are mesmerizing.

This is the pool at the Lagen resort.

A picture of the pier...

...and a picture of me and my wife on the Snake Island.
